Passover

Passover is a great holiday, except for the fact you can`t eat regular bread. The reason it is celebrated is because it commemorates Moses freeing the Jews from slavery. It is celebrated by an elaborate dinner of matzah, vegetables, and brisket. There is also a Seder plate. The pieces of food on the plate all represent something the Jews or Moses went through .The things are; an egg , horseradish, bone , a nut mixture , and some herbs.
For Passover in my class we watched a movie about moses called "The Prince of Egypt.'' We ate chocolate matza, cake, and macaroons. We also made our own Seder plate. All of us tasted something on the plate, including horseradish.  Sometimes, on the seder plate romaine lettuce is used instead of horseradish,so we got to try that also, but most of us prefered the chocolate matza!
