The “Karate Kid” Movie
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to move to China and learn Kong Fu from the maintenance man? You can see what that’s like for Dre Parker (played by Jaden Smith) in the new movie “Karate Kid”. This film takes you through the obstacles that Dre faces when he and his mother move to China from Detroit. He doesn’t know Chinese and he manages to make an enemy on the first day, but he makes two new friends on his first day also. Mr. Han (played by Jackie Chan) is the maintenance man who teaches him Kong Fu. The reason is beat a teacher how has the wrong idea in teaching Kong Fu. I think that this movie is worth 5 stars because it is about someone who goes from everybody picking on him to everybody respecting him. This motion picture has its ups and downs but still is exciting. It teaches you that everything can be used for self-defense. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes fun and action.
