Holiday Poems By: Erin

Haiku:

The wind ruffles scarves

Teeth chatter and skins turn blue

Winter is coming.

Rhyme:

In your crimson stocking,

With fluffy white fringe,

You might find something on it,

Just hanging by a hinge.

A special sweet, a scrumptious treat,

Something very yummy to eat.

With creamy white and candy-red stripes,

You’ll have minty fresh breath all night!

Yes, it’s true, no one can complain

When eating a deliciously fresh candy-cane!

Wonderful

Incredible

Not too dangerous

Terrific

Endless fun

Rainy

Cocoa is the cure!

Outstandingly wintery

Lifting up old fall leaves in the freezing breeze

Dangerous if you stay out too long

Happy

Amazing

Not a frown nor a sneer to be seen

Unhappiness is gone

Knishes to eat

Kind to all

Astounding

Happiness all around

Caring

Hearty

Reindeer decorations on lawns

I love Christmas!

Serene

Terribly jolly

Mistletoe hung everywhere…

And lots of presents, too

Sheer joy
