Loser A report by Jeremy Rueth
This book was about a boy named Zinkoff. He loved school very much. He would do almost anything to get to go everyday. Sometimes he would even run to school on a Saturday or a Sunday. On his first day he kind of goofed off. He wore a giraffe hat that was three feet high and he started laughing uncontrollably.
Three weeks later he had an operation because he had been throwing up a lot. He had an upside-down stomach valve that the surgeons turned right-side up. He had to take two weeks off from school, which for him, was horrible.
He was very afraid of the cellar because it was dark. During the two weeks, he made himself do a test to see if he could walk all the way into the dark cellar without getting too scared and coming back up the stairs again. He failed his test which upset him, but very soon after, he got to go back to school and he was happy again.
