Spelling

Yesterday was our first spelling pre-test.  If any student earns an 85% or higher on the pre-test they will not have spelling homework for the week!!!

Congrats to Sinjin achieving this goal on the first week!

Spelling is not just memorizing a list of words. Students are required to use the words in sentences to demonstrate an entire understanding of the words, not just memorizing the word.

Whenever a spelling test comes home here is a key to help you understand the errors:

If there is a SP that means the word was spelling wrong
If there is USAGE that means the word wasn't used in a sentence correctly. 
If there is a SP & USAGE that means both errors for the same word.
