As all of you know, I am not longer at the school teaching 5th and 6th grade. My family has moved back to Durango, Colorado to be near family and for my husband to help grow his carpet business there. I think this fall is the first time since I went to Kindergarten that I wasn't either going to school for my self or preparing a classroom to teach in. I am still saddened by it, but I am currently being a mom and trying to empty all the boxes and organize a place to live! Not easy with a 4 year old and almost 1 year old.
This blog was once a way for all my class to see kids work and events. Well it is changing content...
I want to keep it as a way to keep all of you posted on what events are going on in Durango and San Diego, maybe post a good sale or coupon deal, food ideas, and my big goal is to help my fellow teachers with ideas for their classroom. If you are teaching a certain topic and are in need of ideas let me know, I will do my best to help either with a project idea or field trip idea!
