Music

In music class with Mr. Matthews, we are preparing for the end of the year concert. Our class is doing the song, Jump Jive N Wail by Louis Armstrong. Before break, we learned about Marti-Gras and how people celebrate it all over the world. One particular place that we learned about was New Orleans. Everybody got their own instrument to play and we all followed the beat that Mr. Matthews played on his snare drum. I enjoy music a lot.

Art

In art we are working on drawing and painting birds. Everyone had to pick a bird and draw it. It could either be one you made up, or to copy one of them on the board. For example: Erin drew a fictional bird, one that she made up. Each class we also learn about famous artists and how they express color and life to create their art. Art is fun and enjoyable, especially with our teacher, Mrs. Debbie. I love art so much.
